Just as the Village of Sundance is surrounded by the 5,000 acre Sundance Preserve, the Preserve is surrounded by 245,000 acres of U.S. Forest Service land and wilderness. Sundance is genuinely one of the most beautiful, unspoiled and protected destinations in the West. No matter where you look, as far as the eye can see, the views are preserved. Yet the Sundance Preserve is less than an hour from Salt Lake City and Park City and no more than five hours by air from almost anywhere in the United States.
